TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra 5G avoids a 200MP headline and instead builds around several useful cameras. Its 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor has a 1/1.56-inch format, f/1.8 aperture, and optical stabilization for everyday photos and low-light scenes.

A 50MP stabilized 3x telephoto provides a 70mm-equivalent perspective that is well suited to portraits and details. The 8MP 112-degree ultrawide handles broader scenes, while the 50MP autofocus front camera is useful for creators who frequently record themselves.

TECNO advertises AI-assisted zoom up to 60x, but the best image quality should come at the native 1x and 3x positions. At extreme digital magnification, software must reconstruct detail that the lens did not optically resolve.

CAMON 50 Ultra is a useful reminder that sensor resolution must be considered alongside lens aperture, stabilization, autofocus, and focal length. It may not match the largest Ultra flagships in sensor size or processing, but its balanced camera selection can be more practical than a cheaper device with one oversized number and weak secondary cameras.
